Floods and landslides across the East African country have killed 181 people since March with homes and roads destroyed. Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands have been forced to leave their homes.
More than 10 lodges and camps at the Maasai Mara game reserve have been flooded after the nearby Talek River burst its banks this Tuesday.
There are also fears that some animals might have been swept away by the raging floods. It is unclear how many people are trapped in the reserve. However, the Kenya Red Cross says about 36 have been rescued so far by air and another 25 by an aqua rescue team.
Meanwhile, Kenya's President William Ruto says citizens living in areas at risk of flooding or landslides will be asked to evacuate today.
The government has told people it will help resettle them in approved areas and warned those who refuse to leave could be removed by force.
Rescuers continue to search for bodies as the number of missing across Kenya in flooding and landslides caused by heavy rains rose to over 180.
